IMCfest 2007, an event for WRFU

IMCfest 2007 (Nov. 9-11th). This years festival is taking place at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center in downtown Urbana and will be a celebration of nearly a decade of Independent Media in the twin cities and the birthday of our own low power FM radio station, WRFU Radio Free Urbana 104.5FM. The event will be composed of almost 30 of the areas favorite musical groups/bands ranging from folk to rock to punk to electronic, feature length independent films, an art show, activist speakers, belly dancers, fire spinning, and anything else we can fit into a weekend. All funds generated from this event will go directly to supporting WRFU's tower campaign, a complete upgrade to the IMC's public audio and video production facilities, and other IMC groups that are in need.
