11/22/2009 Wing-T Sports Talk Show

Hello Urbana --- The city that starts with "yoU":

Tune in again this Sunday to downstate Illinois' PREMIERE sports talk show from 6-8 pm when we will feature our annual local basketball preview show.

This week's guests include Urbana HS head b-ball coach Vashoune Russell, Centennial HS head b-ball coach Tim Lavin and longtime b-ball and track-n-field guru "Fast" Willie Taylor.

Coach Russell will soon begin his first season and the UHS Tiger basketball coach. He is also an assistant coach for the UHS football team and a UHS athletics hall of fame member.

Coach Lavin is head coach of the defending IHSA class AA State Champion Champaign Centennial basketball program, which returns two seniors who are division I college basketball signees.

Coach Taylor has coached football, basketball and track & field in the Urbana & Champaign high schools for many years and ALWAYS has a strong pulse on what is going on in the Chambana sports scene.

Superdome will also bring us his monthly "Superdome Ryme Time Theatre" and the Wing-T crew will be offering two tickets to the Illini-Fresno State football game on 12/5/09 for the first caller to correctly answer this week's sports trivia question.

and remember ..... like bubbles in a pot of boiling hot water, keep rising Urbana!!!
